Mrs Penninah Kyoyagala-Tomusange

I joined the fellowship program in 2004. I had just returned from pursuing my MA studies at Leeds University. I had always wanted to be called a Fellow because most on the autobiographies I read of great people, there was something to do with fellowship.

When I read the advert calling for application, I felt the moment had arrived. I submitted my application, after some time I was called for interviews and then the good news came, a phone call made to congratulate me, I was delighted. I was hosted by the Uganda Red Cross Society

Ms Mary Dutki

Ms Mary Dutki is a graduate and member of the Clinical Epidemiology Unit, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University College of Health Sciences. She is a budding public health researcher, and a proactive and dynamic team leader who brings a pragmatic and conscientious approach to tackling assigned projects.
Mary joined the Fellowship Program in April 2008 and was attached to PREFA.

While hosted at PREFA as a Fellow, Mary used her laboratory skills to contribute to the implementation of quality assurance (QA) programs in HIV testing sites. She completed a baseline assessment of the QA program in 50 public health facilities

Dr Enid Mbabazi Mugisha

Ms Irene Kambonesa Tumuhirwe

Irene Kambonesa is the Director for Training and Education at Mildmay Uganda.  She is a Makerere University IPH/CDC HIV/AIDS fellow alumnus who completed the program 2004 and has over 18 years of experience in training and management of community and public health projects and programs.  Irene is a State Registered Nurse and Midwife with a Master of Public Health Degree from The University of Liverpool UK
